Waitrose Health

Cutting through spurious health advice and false claims is Waitrose Health magazine, written by experts in their field for a discerning audience. I was with Waitrose Health from day one, first as Features Editor, then Deputy Editor, before becoming Editor.  My work here led me to be shortlisted for, and win, a number of industry awards.

I wrote 365 tips for a healthier, fitter and happier year that led to an above-the-line campaign in Waitrose stores all over the UK, giving shoppers nutritional tips as they shopped.

In 2020, during the pandemic, The Self Care issue was the most picked-up issue to date, with content that met readers’ immediate needs as they were looking for ways to look after their mental and physical health from home.

In 2021, I invited author, podcaster and PT Adrienne Herbert to be our very first guest editor.

Plantopia

New ethical beauty brand, Plantopia, needed a wellbeing blog and a set of brand videos to launch with. As well as writing the storyboards and art directing the brand videos, I commissioned a series of expert-led SEO features that set the tone for this never-seen-before brand, which has self-care and holistic wellbeing at its core.

Tackling health topics that speak to an older health-concious audience, I write regular features for Lifespan, the magazine and content hub published by health supplement brand Healthspan.
